Juliet and some of her team members were asked to be ball girls at the Galaxy/Chivas playoff game on Sunday. Juliet actually had to throw the ball in a few times. They were so close to the players. She was by the goal for the second half of the game.
The wall is almost done, the grass is almost all in and the fence is almost complete. Tomorrow they will be back to finish up! The dogs were so excited to be in the back yard...however their joy was short lived as they are not allowed to play back there for 2 weeks!!! Now the fun begins as I get to start planting the hill and the planter boxes. The grass is so pretty it almost looks fake!
They poured our front sidewalk and this pad on Saturday morning...yes, on Halloween. I was really worried that we would get trick or treaters running through. Fortunately with the help of some carefully place automobiles and saw horses, we were able to block the entire area.
By the day's end, they had poured concrete, built the second wall (almost done) and started hauling away dirt...Tomorrow should be exciting as all the extra stuff should be gone and the walls will be finished. 
They started at 7 this morning clearing the second level and setting the footing. Then the mixer truck came with another load of concrete. As of lunchtime, they are working on the blocks for the second level. I climbed on the patio cover to get these shots. I think I will take more from this angle...you get the full effect this way... and the piles of dirt keep getting bigger!!!
