A future Project Runway contestant

Juliet sent me this picture of a dress she made for a challenge in her Fashion Merchandising class. She had one class period and rolls of toilet paper to make a dress. I think she did a pretty good job!

Galaxy Game

Juliet and some of her team members were asked to be ball girls at the Galaxy/Chivas playoff game on Sunday. Juliet actually had to throw the ball in a few times. They were so close to the players. She was by the goal for the second half of the game.

Almost Done!

The wall is almost done, the grass is almost all in and the fence is almost complete. Tomorrow they will be back to finish up! The dogs were so excited to be in the back yard...however their joy was short lived as they are not allowed to play back there for 2 weeks!!! Now the fun begins as I get to start planting the hill and the planter boxes. The grass is so pretty it almost looks fake!

The other fun thing that we are having done is a fountain in our sitting area...but no pictures of that until it is finished!

Halloween 2009

Izzy was a "jazz dancer" this year. Not sure what that means, but she sure was cute!! This Halloween was a little sad for me. All of the kids were gone with others so Brock and I gave out candy to all the cute little kids that came by.

Hmmm Whose Idea was this?

They poured our front sidewalk and this pad on Saturday morning...yes, on Halloween. I was really worried that we would get trick or treaters running through. Fortunately with the help of some carefully place automobiles and saw horses, we were able to block the entire area.
